AUSTIN – The Senate Finance Committee, chaired by State Senator Jane Nelson, R-Flower Mound, has filed its interim report, which analyzes and makes recommendations on several issues of key importance to the state.
"This Committee conducted a thorough analysis of our state investments, natural disaster funding, agency technology, the business personal property tax and the spending limit — all issues that come into play as we meet the fiscal challenges that lie ahead of us," Senator Nelson said. "We also examined the significant amount of research being conducted with state dollars at our institutions of higher education and looked specifically at how those efforts are aiding to confront COVID-19."
