WESLACO, TX -- State Sen. Eddie Lucio, Jr. urges veterans to attend the Rio Grande Valley Veterans Alliance Enrollment Fair and sign up for health care benefits.
This event will offer all veterans of the Valley the opportunity to enroll in the VA Health Care System. There are eight different categories to qualify for medical care.
All veterans are urged to attend and enroll!
In charge of coordinating the enrollment fair is Veterans of Foreign Wars District Commander Felix Rodriguez. There will be persons available to assist veterans in filling out the forms. Veterans are asked to bring their DD 214 documents. Those who have served in the U.S. Armed Forces for 181 consecutive days are considered to be veterans.
