Horseshoe Bay Senator Troy Fraser was honored today when he was unanimously elected President Pro-Tempore of the Texas Senate by his fellow members.

Plano Senator Florence Shapiro was one of several members to rise and enthusiastically second the nomination.

Fraser's wife of forty years, Linda Cochran Fraser, looks on proudly as her husband's colleagues laud his 12 year record of accomplishment in the Texas Senate.
