Legislators to Host Educational Forum on Stem Cell Research
| WHAT: | Expert scientists, ethicists and biotech industry leaders will convene at the State Capitol to discuss the scientific, moral and economic aspects of stem cell research. A bipartisan host committee of 20 senators and 52 state representatives is chaired by Senator Judith Zaffirini, D-Laredo, and co-chaired by Representative Rick Hardcastle, R-Vernon. The educational forum is intended for legislators, staff and representatives from state agencies and institutions of higher education to help them be better informed about stem cell issues. |
