On Friday, May 14, 2010, from 10-10:30 a.m., state elected officials, including area senators and state representatives, DPS officials, and community leaders will attend the Groundbreaking Ceremony for the New Texas Department of Public Safety Regional Headquarters.
The groundbreaking site is located at the northwest corner of FM 1015 and Mile 9, just north of the Stripes gas station in Weslaco.
