In the ensuing two decades of reports, studies, and litigation leading up to the cleanup of the RSR/Murmur Superfund Site and the adjacent neighborhoods has come the unavoidable cause and effect relationships of expo- sure to lead and a host of other pollutants with deaths and birth defects as well as disease and cancer clusters that have plagu- ed and continue to plague West Dallas families and their children.
